The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 9. It’s the first time these two teams have played since 2019 when Matt Moore was starting in place of an injured Patrick Mahomes.
The NFL has officially expanded to a 17-game regular-season schedule, beginning in 2021. Now, the Kansas City Chiefs have one more opponent to face in 2021: Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
The Chiefs are carrying two QBs — Moore and former XFL passer Jordan Ta’amu — on their P-squad. Former Raiders backup running back DeAndre Washington also rejoined the Chiefs after being released.
There are several conclusions to be drawn from the Miami Dolphins signing Jay Cutler, none of them particularly encouraging. For one, it’s fair to wonder why Miami wanted a starter-level quarterback with name recognition in the first place.
